Tychsens Brickwork

A thoroughly rationalized brickworks with an annual capacity of 20 million moulded bricks. The plant has its own swamp for prepared clay and 4 presses for the actual production of yellow, red and multicoloured facing bricks in various sizes. The drying takes place in a drying tunnel. The natural gas powered tunnel kiln is approx. 90 m long. Due to the geographic location of the works a considerable part of the production is sold on the German market.

Tychsens Teglværk employs about 17 people and is fully owned by the Piper group
