Højslev Brickwork

One of the most advanced roof tileworks in Northern Europe, firing in cassettes. From the 10,000-cubic-metre swamp the clay is fed to 2 extruding presses where the traditional pantiles are moulded or to 3 rotary presses where the production of interlocking tiles and accessories takes place.

The 100-m long and 8.75-m wide kiln has an annual capacity of 17 million tiles which are sold in Denmark, Norway and Sweden. Colours range from the traditional red tiles over yellow to brown and black.

This works employs about 34 people and is fully owned by the Piper group.
